Koma geta

Two-tooth koma geta provide a useful baseline for studying construction. Their apparent simplicity reveals differences in tooth placement and platform lines.

What to observe

From the side, compare tooth width, front and rear overhang, and platform curve. Front photographs alone conceal much of the form.

Thinking as a collection

When collecting a type in multiples, use shared dimensions and viewing angles so differences remain comparable.
